Artist transforms 19th-century call boxes honor 8 women who helped shape DC's history.

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — You might have noticed that there are eight new faces replacing blank space on unused emergency call boxes around the District. The 19th-century call boxes now display women who have made an impact on DC's history. Including a tribute to Mary Church Terrell, a civil rights trail blazer who fought segregation in the District.
