Chuck Brown Memorial Artwork

Led by Charles Bergen, the Stovall, Walker, Bergen and Atkins Team were finalists in the competition to select The Chuck Brown Memorial Artwork in Washington, DC. Charles Bergen created the initial site plan concept for the artwork, which includes an eight-foot tall sculpture of the musician Chuck Brown standing on a twenty-four foot long guitar.  Medallions at his feet celebrate important phases of Browns’ musical career and are inspired by his album covers.   Charles Bergen also sculpted the final figure for the proposal and managed the team’s work.
